The EWPA Yellow Card® Accredited Trainer of the Year Award has been created to recognise excellence in the delivery of the EWPA Yellow Card® training. This award aims to highlight excellence in training delivery, ensuring that operators receive high-quality education on operating Elevating Work Platforms, aiming to not only acknowledge individual excellence, but also promote a culture of safety and professionalism within the industry.

By recognising trainers who excel in their roles, the EWPA aims to inspire others to enhance their training methodologies and contribute positively to workplace safety standards. The EWPA Yellow® Card Accredited Trainer of the Year Award plays a vital role in fostering high standards in training for elevated work platforms, ultimately benefiting both trainers and trainees in maintaining safe operational practices.

This award will be presented each year at the Global Access Meeting which is held in conjunction with the annual HRIA Convention.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for nomination for this award, the applicant must:

Belong to a current financial member organisation of the EWPA
Be a current EWPA Accredited Trainer having kept their qualifications up to date
Have delivered a minimum of 10 training courses during the period 1 January – 31 December
Have successfully completed their CPD for the year

One full delegate registration to the HRIA Convention the following year
